My Story
Brendon W. Kipina took the less traditional path to engage in business, engineering and science. An inventor and hands-on engineer, Kipina has a different outlook on the world than most, which allows him to not adhere to unspoken rules, because – quite frankly – he does not know them.
Kipina’s untraditional path to medical device innovation draws on a distinctive mechanical and entrepreneurial background. He began as owner and farrier/blacksmith of Kipina Performance Horseshoeing (2017–2020) in Savannah, Georgia, developing deep expertise in hand tools, fabrication, and equine mechanical anatomy while maintaining the performance of sport horses and competing as a blacksmith. He concurrently served as a fireman with the Statesboro Fire Department (2018–2019). From 2019 to 2023 he founded and led Kipina Industries, designing, engineering, and manufacturing performance suspension systems for light-duty trucks and building extensive capabilities in mechanical engineering, CAD, manufacturing, assembly, and fabrication—becoming one of the youngest to design, engineer, and commercially manufacture such systems. He then served as President of Kipina Industrial (2023–2025) in Charlotte, North Carolina, facilitating the acquisition and sale of industrial manufacturing facilities and trading more than 2.5 million square feet of property, ranking among the top individual professionals for industrial real estate volume across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
In 2024 he founded Anamed, Inc. in Charlotte, bringing together business leadership, mechanical design and engineering, and his upbringing with an inventive Anesthesiologist household. Described as a “disruptioneer of procedural medicine,” Kipina’s mission centers on improving patient care through devices that take complex medical procedures and make them simple.
His combination of a practical mechanical engineering, product development, manufacturing experience, unique perspective and purposeful drive underpins Anamed’s focus on pragmatic, high-impact solutions.
